... in Bangalore while being squeezed in a rickshaw. I was on my way to Blossoms to drown myself in books.
Pst! This post is not blogger's block, don't you know. Just don't want to lose the habit of posting at least semi-regularly.
Now pat me on the back, I say! ;-)

Here, generous pats. Good job!
@Nocturne and Parth: Many thanks for thumps and generous pats! :-)
I don't know if you care but wanted to drop a few lines to say 'Thank You'. You are awesome, but you probably already know that and although I have not read through all of the comments on your posts (I have read through all your posts though), I am sure many before me have told you that. But this is not about that.
Reading and writing have long been my favourite things to do but of late, I got sucked up in the pursuit of the illusive corporate ladder. A few of my well-meaning friends have been goading me for a while now to start a blog but I didn't... for a million reasons, till now.
I stumbled upon your blog in Aditya's blog-roll (adityabarve.blogspot.com) and got hooked! There is an honesty in your posts that's hard to shake. It's like a good tequila... stays with you for days :)
Just wanted to say thanks for the nudge that you unwittingly gave me to finally start my blog (quietaqua.blogspot.com). It's immensely liberating to write again.
Whatever you choose to do with your multiple talents, don't ever stop writing. You can knock Jhumpa Lahiri out of the park any day of the week... and twice on Sunday.
Godspeed.
Ironically, for the want of better verbiage,I have absolutely nothing to say, except, I am dearly waiting for you next post. Can I count on the power of 'silence'?
@C'est Moi: Thanks very much... I don't know what to say really. You certainly give me far too much credit. I'm glad if I helped you, in any way, start writing. I fear for my own sometimes. And as for being better than Jhumpa Lahiri, I mean no disrespect, but that's really not much of a compliment! :-))
Welcome aboard!
@Praxis: Well, allow me to join you in hoping that the next won't be too far away.
Welcome to E Vestigio! :-)
You are right. I take that back.
@C'est Moi: Ah now! You must not take me seriously about that. I wasn't being rude... just tongue-in-cheek about diasporic writers! :-)
It's very flattering to be thought of as publishing-worthy! Thanks muchly for that compliment.
A great picture!!
And here's a pat.. :)
